Purpose of this training:

This training helped participants to develop and/or refine a data-based decision making system for reviewing the effectiveness of core instructional. Two main topics were covered throughout the day:

  • Core Review Meetings - how to use universal screening data in a problem-solving model to help evaluate the health of core instruction and make instructional adjustments.

  • Monitoring core instruction - how to use a walkthrough process to determine professional learning needs and on-going support for core instruction.

Who attended:

District Implementation Leadership Team (DILT) AND building leaders (building principals, coaches, and teacher leaders) who will help support core review meetings and core instruction.
